With over 25 years of experience in the field of orthopedic medicine, I combine clinical expertise with advanced technology to provide effective and safe solutions for each patient.
I treat a wide range of conditions, from sports injuries and fractures to degenerative disorders such as osteoarthritis, focusing on both conservative treatments and surgical procedures, including joint replacements and arthroscopy. I approach each case comprehensively, prioritizing functional recovery and the patient's quality of life.
My training includes studies at the University of Cartagena and a specialty in Orthopedics from the University of Panama, along with ongoing education in modern surgical techniques and evidence-based medicine. I am a member of national and international medical societies, which allows me to stay at the forefront of orthopedic treatments.
I currently provide consultations at Medihelp in Cartagena, where I work with a multidisciplinary team and cutting-edge resources to ensure precise, compassionate, and effective care.

 I am a medical specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology, with a subspecialty in pelvic and acetabular surgery. I focus on the diagnosis and treatment of complex hip injuries, particularly acetabular fractures, dysplasias, and post-traumatic conditions affecting the hip joint. I have experience in the surgical management of acetabular fractures, as well as hip joint replacements in young and adult patients with structural or degenerative conditions. My approach is centered on precise anatomical reconstruction, joint preservation, and early functional rehabilitation. I trained as a medical doctor at the University of Sinú and completed my Orthopedic specialization at the University of Cartagena. I then pursued advanced training in pelvic and acetabular surgery at Fundación Santa Fe de Bogotá, followed by a Musculoskeletal Trauma Observership at Zuckerberg General Hospital, where I gained experience in advanced and minimally invasive techniques. I currently provide care at Medihelp in the city of Cartagena, supported by a multidisciplinary team and state-of-the-art technology. I am committed to delivering personalized, ethical care focused on restoring mobility and improving each patient’s quality of life.
